On the occasion of the 175th anniversary of Belgium's independence and of the 25th anniversary of federalism, the Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs, External Trade and Development Co-operation stages in the prestigious environment of the former library of the Egmont Palace a retrospective exhibition on 175 years of diplomacy in Belgium, a chapter of our history people are sometimes unaware of.

Due to the Summer holidays, the weekly briefing of the Spokesman of the Foreign Affairs FPS will not be held. Briefings are to resume on Wednesday 31 August 2005.
