Registration on the media accreditation platform of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union (January – June 2024)

Dear members of the press,

As the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU started on January 1st, 2024, we kindly invite you to register on our media accreditation platform.

To attend Informal Councils, Ministerial Conferences and other events, media representatives’ profiles need verification and approval on this platform (for Formal Councils, normal procedures apply). Given the time required for security checks, it is advisable to create and register your profile as soon as possible, and no later than 3 weeks before the first event you wish to attend.

 Upon successful verification, you will receive a Verified Badge, valid throughout the six-month of the Belgian Presidency (January – June 2024). Once you have this Verified Badge, you can register for each individual event on the accreditation platform and will be able to access the available documents.

 In order to attend an event, please ensure you:

1/ Have a Verified Badge

2/ Register for the specific event on the accreditation platform.
