The Belgian Debt Agency increases its target for OLO issuance in 2016 to EUR 36.50 billion and revises EMTN and Schuldscheine targets downwards to EUR 3.50 billion.

The Belgian Federal Government Debt amounted to EUR 406.23 billion as of 30 September 2016.
 
Debt issued or taken over by the federal government amounted to EUR 405.96 billion, and the institutions for which the federal government supports the debt service, registered a debt of EUR 0.27 billion.

In net terms (i.e. deducting financial deposits and investments, as well as securities owned by the Treasury), the Federal Government Debt amounted to EUR 395.86 billion.

Within the framework of its announced Buyback program for bonds coming to maturity within 12 months, the Belgian Debt Agency will start quoting bid prices on a special window on the MTS AM electronic platform as of tomorrow September 30th, 2016 to buy back its OLO 40 (ISIN : BE0000300096) having a current outstanding of 8,437,637,800 EUR.
The bond has its final maturity on 28th September  2017.
