The 1.90% EURO 4 billion OLO76 benchmark issue, maturing 22nd June, 2038 for the KINGDOM OF BELGIUM, rated Aa3/AA/AA, is now priced.
Issue/Reoffer price 99.382, to yield  1.934%, equivalent to 34 bps over mid swaps.
Payment date 16th September, 2015. Short first coupon on 22nd June, 2016. Listing Brussels.
Belgian law. No XD, no NP.FM2 (with prior consultation with the issuer) applies.

The Minister of Finance, Johan Van Overtveldt, announces :

The Kingdom of Belgium intends to issue a new syndicated EURO benchmark bond maturing 22nd June, 2038 (OLO 76) in the near future, subject to market conditions.
The Kingdom has mandated HSBC, Morgan Stanley, RBS and SG CIB as joint bookrunners. 
The auction scheduled for 21st September, 2015 is cancelled.

Today, the Kingdom of Belgium issued a 100-year EUR 50 million note in the framework of its EMTN-program.
The EUR 50 million note will be redeemed on 9 September 2115 and carries an annual coupon of 2.50%.
The deal was arranged by Goldmans Sachs International.
It is the inaugural issuance of the Kingdom in this tenor. Its low coupon reflects the strong credit profile of the issuer.
With this issuance, the Kingdom of Belgium establishes itself once again as a long-term issuer.

The Belgian Federal Government Debt amounted to EUR 393.36 billion as of 31 July 2015. Debt issued or taken over by the federal government amounted to EUR 393.07 billion, and the institutions for which the federal government supports the debt service, registered a debt of EUR 0.29 billion.
In net terms (i.e. deducting financial deposits and investments, as well as securities owned by the Treasury), the Federal Government Debt amounted to EUR 377.80 billion.
