This weekend (23-24 November) the Belgian State Archives hosts the first ever Annual Conference of the International Council on Archives (ICA) at the Square meeting centre on Accountability, Transparency and Access to Information’.

The Treasury today decided to cancel the OLO-auction that was scheduled for November 25, 2013. This decision is related to the sale of the Kingdom's stake in BNP Paribas Fortis, the proceeds of which amount to EUR 3.25 billion.
In the course of 2013, the Treasury will have issued OLOs for an amount of EUR 42.33 billion. This amount is in line with previous years.

The Belgian Federal Government Debt amounted to EUR 376.39 billion as of 30 October 2013. Debt issued or taken over by the federal government amounted to EUR 376.07 billion, and the institutions for which the federal government supports the debt service, registered a debt of EUR 0.32 billion.

In net terms (i.e. deducting financial deposits and investments, as well as securities owned by the Treasury), the Federal Government Debt amounted to EUR 366.01 billion.
