Belgium House in Davos: a strategic meeting place for innovation, sustainability and international collaboration

On the occasion of the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos, Belgium showcases its expertise in innovation, security, resilience, clean technologies, energy infrastructure and international collaboration at the Belgium House in Davos for the second consecutive year. This year's programme at the Belgium House reflects the priorities of the country's business leaders and dovetails with the Forum's key themes, including geopolitical cooperation, energy transition and climate action.

The sessions held at the Belgium House will aim to promote a sustainable, inclusive, resilient and prosperous global economy. Highlights will include a high-level discussion addressing the construction of resilient economies amidst conflicts, in the presence of Their Majesties the King and Queen, a luncheon on economic security and international diplomacy, sessions on the clean energy transition, as well as discussions on the sustainability of the diamond sector and the role of Belgian companies in industrial development.

Featuring high-profile speakers, such as Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, as well as senior political figures and private sector leaders, the Belgium House 2025 will be a key venue for fostering international partnerships and tackling global challenges.

We are proud to once again present the Belgium House at Davos as a centre for innovation and technological expertise. Belgium is open for business. We strongly support this private-sector initiative because our open economy can only develop by connecting its know-how and performance with foreign stakeholders.

In a difficult geopolitical context, the Belgium House is rightly focusing this year on security and defence. Over the next five years, we will be redefining the European single market and our national economy. A robust economic foundation is essential if we are to meet the security challenges facing us today and in the future.

There can be no secure society without a strong economy, and no strong economy without security. This underscores the urgent need to advance the Industrial Deal our country has championed for the last two years – a cornerstone for reigniting sustainable economic growth
Alexander De Croo
Prime Minister
Supported by companies from the three regions of the country, the Belgium House aims to showcase the unique expertise and innovation developed in our country. Such a presence in Davos during the World Economic Forum allows an export-driven economy like Belgium to establish exceptional contacts in just a few days

About the Belgium House

The Belgium House at Davos is a private-sector initiative supported by the Belgian federal authorities. The creation of this venue for dialogue open to everyone is part of “Belgium. Embracing openness”, an international campaign designed to boost the country's image. Run by the FPS Chancellery of the Prime Minister, this campaign aims to promote Belgium's reputation among investors, opinion leaders, researchers and students.

With this campaign, whose colours fully adorn the Belgium House, Belgium wants to show the whole world that it is open for business. At this iconic location on the Davos Promenade, we are working to strengthen the Belgian economy and address the challenges of our time. By bringing together economic players, the Belgium House is an ideal example of how we can move forward by working together.

Not only is the Belgium House a venue for discussion, debate and partnership, but it is also a place to meet up, relax and enjoy Belgian specialities in a friendly setting featuring the works of contemporary Belgian artist Antoine Rose.
