The Centre for Cyber Security Belgium (CCB) today announced the introduction of a compulsory cyber driving licence for all citizens seeking access to the internet. The measure is part of the new cyber strategy 2026-2030, which aims to Belgium one of the least vulnerable countries in Europe

Within the framework of the buyback programme provided for in the 2025 financing plan, the Federal Debt Agency has started quoting purchase prices on the Treasury segment (TRS) of MTS Belgium for the buyback of OLO64 (ISIN BE0000324336) as from today, Monday 31 March.

Today, Belgium was informed of Rwanda’s decision to sever diplomatic relations with Belgium and to declare Belgian diplomats in Kigali persona non grata.

Since the introduction of the NIS2 legislation last October, 2410 organizations from critical sectors have registered with the Center for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB). The largest ever cyber security operation in the country is currently underway. During this period, reports of cyber incidents increased by 80%.
