OLO - New OLO 2022

The Minister of Finance, Didier Reynders, announces :

The Kingdom of Belgium intends to issue a new syndicated 15 year benchmark
bond (OLO 48) in the near future, subject to market conditions.

The Kingdom has mandated Calyon, Citigroup, Fortis and Goldman Sachs as joint bookrunners.

The OLO auction scheduled for 29th May, 2006 is cancelled.

Walloon higher education on route for super fast internet

In 2007, Walloon higher education institutions will receive super fast internet access with a capacity of 1 gigabit per second, around 500 times faster than an ADSL connection. Such is the result of cooperation between the Federal government institute, BELNET and the Walloon Regional Authority, steered by Walloon Minister for Research and New Technologies, Marie-Dominique Simonet.

OSCE Chairman commends authorities in Skopje on their reform efforts
