New OLO 89 - Pricing

The 0.1% EURO 6 billion OLO89 benchmark issue, maturing 22nd June, 2030 for the KINGDOM OF BELGIUM, rated Aa3/AA/AA-, is now priced.

Issue/Reoffer price 99.865, to yield 0.113%, equivalent to 7 bps under mid swaps.

Payment date January 22th, 2020. Short first coupon on June 22nd, 2020. Listing Brussels.

Belgian law. No XD, no NP. FM2 (with prior consultation with the issuer) applies.

Fees total 17.5 cts.

Reg S Category 1, 144A eligible,  CAC,  FCA / ICMA Stabilisation.

New OLO 2030

The Minister of Finance, Alexander De Croo, announces :

The Kingdom of Belgium intends to issue a new syndicated EURO benchmark bond maturing June 22nd, 2030 (OLO 89) in the near future, subject to market conditions.

The Kingdom has mandated BNP Paribas Fortis, Crédit Agricole CIB, J.P. Morgan, KBC and NatWest Markets as joint bookrunners. All other Primary Dealers will be invited to the syndicate group.

Cancellation of OLO auction of 20 January 2020

The Belgian Debt Agency announces:

The OLO auction scheduled on 20th of January, 2020 is cancelled.

The Kingdom of Belgium is monitoring the market in order to issue a new EURO syndicated benchmark subject to market conditions.

Federal Government Debt at end December 2019

The Belgian Federal Government Debt amounted to EUR 393.850 billion as of 31 December 2019.
Debt issued or taken over by the federal government amounted to EUR 393.64 billion, and the institutions for which the federal government supports the debt service, registered a debt of EUR 0.21 billion.
In net terms (i.e. deducting financial deposits and investments, as well as securities owned by the Treasury), the Federal Government Debt amounted to EUR 385.48 billion.

PRESS RELEASE : OLO Buyback

Within the framework of its announced Buyback program, the Belgian Debt Agency starts quoting bid prices on a special window on the MTS AM electronic platform as of today January 6th, 2020 to buy back its OLO 48 with ISIN  BE0000308172 and its OLO 65 with ISIN BE0000325341 having respectively an outstanding of 14,084,000,000 EUR and 16,246,000,000 EUR. The OLO 48 has its final maturity on March 28th, 2022 and the OLO 65 has its final maturity on September 28th 2022.
